Mom's Trip to Nauvoo

We arrived at the train station about 5:10 AM and waited until 5:30 AM. The train was right on time. Fortunately there was plenty of time to meet a plethora of interesting new friends. There is always time to meet new friends, right mom?

Where's my Train Ticket?

What a trip!

Mom and her 5 sisters just returned from a whirlwind trip to Nauvoo Illinois where they attended a fun 2 day retreat. They took amtrak across two-thirds of the country. Now you may think that is just a blase trip, but you must consider that they are all 70 years of age and older. They enjoyed the trip loved the companionship, ate, shopped, laughed and basically had a time they will all remember. I took pictures of them as they were preparing to leave and thought I would post them all for the enjoyment of the spectacular 6. So to my dear mom and wonderful aunties, ENJOY!
